Florham Park, NJ 162 Columbia Turnpike August 23, 2006 : On August 23, 2006 Florham Park, NJ firefighters responded to the Brick Oven Restaurant at 162 Columbia Turnpike on a reported fire. Upon arrival fire fighters found that the fire had extended from the chimney into the roof area of the restaurant. Washington Borough, NJ 44 East Washington Ave. August 28, 2006 : On August 28, 2006 Washington Borough, NJ fire fighters were enroute to their fire company drill when they spotted smoke coming from the Washington Antique Store located at 44 East Washington Ave. (AKA- Route 57). Mutual aid was called to the scene from Warren, Morris, and Hunterdon Counties. The rear half of the building collapsed about 15 minutes into the fire. The Washington Antique store was a fixture in the borough for around 100 years. The building was a historical landmark and served many uses before becoming an antique store. Photos By: Adam Alberti

Clifton, NJ 5-Alarm fire Main & Clifton Aves. July 12, 2006 : On July 12, 2006 Clifton, NJ fire fighters responded to Main Ave & Clifton Ave on a report of a fire. Upon arrival fire fighters found heavy smoke showing from the 2 story building that housed several businesses and apartments above. Multiple alarms were transmitted escalating to 5 alarms. Andover, NJ 136 Main St. Andover Inn January 24, 2006 : On January 24, 2006 Andover Borough, NJ fire fighters responded to a structure fire at 136 Main St. better known as the Andover Inn. The landmark building was occupied at the time of the fire. All the residents escaped from the building before fire rapidly extended and destroyed the structure. 2/27/06 Jersey City, NJ 4th Alarm Westside and Fairmount Ave : February 27, 2006 Jersey City, NJ fire fighters responded to a building fire at 792 Westside Ave. Upon arrival they found fire showing in a 2 story frame store with apartments above. Heavy fire spread rapidly into the cockloft and spread to adjacent buildings on Fairmount Ave. The fire heavily damaged 449-457 Fairmount Ave. In total 7 building were involved in fire. The fire took several hours to control and escalated to 4 alarms. Dozens of families were left homeless from the blaze. Photos By: Adam Alberti
