Detroit, MI Box Alarm East Grand Blvd & East Kirby April 2, 2008 : On April 2, 2008 at approximately 0520 hrs Central transmitted a Box Alarm for East Grand Blvd and East Kirby for a dwelling fire. Upon arrival Engine 23 reported they were stretching. Companies had heavy fire through-out a 2.5 story frame dwelling. Several handlines and one ladderpipe worked the fire. Detroit, MI Box Alarm 8701 Peter Hunt April 3, 2008 : At approximately 00:30 hours Detroit Firefighters responded to 8701 Peter Hunt on a reported fire in a dwelling. Detroit, MI Still Alarm Westend St. and West Jefferson April 6, 2008 : While taking a drive down Fort Ave we noticed a column of smoke coming up in the distance and heard Engine 29 on a still alarm. We decided to follow the smoke and found Engine 29 working a large area of brush and rubbish in the rear of a vacant school. Engine 27 and Ladder 13 were requested to assist in fighting the fire. Detroit, MI Box Alarm Hunt and Jos Campau April 5, 2008 : On April 5, 2008 in the early evening Detroit Firefighters responded to Hunt and Jos Campau on a dwelling fire with reported people trapped. Upon arrival companies found heavy fire through-out a vacant 2.5 story frame. Engine 9 dumped their monitor on the fire. Companies then made an aggressive attack and knocked the fire down in about 30 minutes. Searches for the reported civilian trapped were negative. Photos By: Adam Alberti

Detroit, MI Box Alarm 3025 Hogarth nr Wildemere April 4, 2008 : On April 4, 2008 Around 12:30 P.M. Detroit firefighters responded to 3025 Hogarth near Wilemere on a reported dwelling on fire. Upon arrival companies found heavy fire and smoke showing from the rear and attic of a 2.5 story wood frame dwelling. An aggressive interior attack knocked the fire down within 20 minutes. Detroit, MI Box Alarm McDougall & East Ferry March 31, 2008 : On March 31, 2008 around 11:15 A.M. Engine 23 and Ladder 10 responded to McDougall and East Ferry to check for a fire. Upon arrival Ladder 10 reported light smoke showing from the second floor of a 2.5 story frame. Ladder 10 stretched their red line to the fire and requested the BOX on the fire. Detroit - East Kirby & Chene October 7, 2007 : On October 7, 2007 Detroit firefighters responded on a box alarm to East Kirby and Chene for a reported house explosion with possible victims trapped. Upon arrival companies reported that they were stretching on 2 dwellings. Heavy fire spread through the roof and caused damage to the D-exposure.
